Carrying Out Our Mission

The John hopkins Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center

The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at John's Hopkins

One of only 40 cancer centers in the country designated by the National Cancer Institute as a Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center grants its patients access to some of the most innovative and advanced therapies in the world. Because their clinicians and research scientists work closely together, newly developed drugs and treatments can be quickly transferred to the clinical setting, offering patients improved therapeutic options.

“Working together, our doctors, nurses, and scientists are doing more than ever to battle disease and advance new frontiers of medical knowledge. The progress we make and the knowledge we gain impact the lives of countless patients and their families, now and for years to come. This would not be possible without private philanthropy.”
