White Memorial Medical Center (WMMC) is a leading not-for-profit, faith-based, teaching hospital, which provides a full range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency and diagnostic services to communities in and near downtown Los Angeles. As an Adventist hospital, they are proud of their healthcare tradition of caring for the whole person – body, mind and spirit. Two accomplishments that speak to this commitment are awards they received for their performance.

• One of 11 hospitals to receive a silver-level California Award for Performance Excellence.
• Based on responses to patient surveys, earned Five-Star Awards for Excellence in Healthcare from Professional Research Consultants.
