LAKE FOREST, Calif. - Oct. 30, 2007 - WD® (NYSE: WDC) today announced that the company is a
proud sponsor of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (www.nationalbreastcancer.org) with the
introduction of its new pink WD Passport® Portable Drives. Available now in the U.S. from
WD's online store (www.shopwd.com) and expected next month at Best Buy stores, the new pink-colored
WD Passport Portable Drive features a whopping one-quarter terabyte capacity. To aid in the fight
against breast cancer, WD is making a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NCBF).
