The Council of Community Clinics (CCC) is composed of 17 community and health centers operating more than 70 primary care sites throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties. The mission of the CCC is to represent and support community clinics and health centers in the efforts to provide access to quality health care and related services for the diverse communities they serve, with an emphasis on low-income and uninsured populations.
"The recent budget crisis in California has had a very negative impact on those who can least absorb it – the men, women and children who are served by our clinics. NBCF's selfless gift will make it possible for a great number of medically underserved women to receive mammograms, and statistically speaking, save the lives of many of them. On behalf of all of them – thank you!"Victoria M. Penland, Chief Executive Officer
