I was told a year ago I had a suspicious lump in my breast. The ultrasound report said it was a rad 5- highly suggestive of malignancy. When they biopsy it, I was told it was an infected cyst. They were still concern because usually the only way they can become infected is by breast feeding, (which I wasn't). I was told I needed to have the surgery anyway to remove it. So I had the surgery, they removed it, and scraped all the inflammation around it out. The biopsy showed just immflammation and they couldn't explain why. So now I have to go back every 6 months. The first six month check up was fine. Now I just went for my yearly, (6 months after the first check-up), and they found another suspicious mass in the same breast but a different place. I am scheduled for a ultrasound guided biopsy this week. Anybody ever heard such a thing?
