Is 4 treatments of TCH good enough

I am going through taxotere, carboplatin and herceptin to keep cancer from coming back. It was stage 1, but invasive. It's all gone and as much as I want to keep it away, I can't take the treatments. I am so sick and it gets worse with each treatment. I have had 3 so far. I have the nausea and dizziness from day 4 through day 9 and today I have to go in for an IV. I can hardly get out of bed. I've tried compazine, zofran, Emend and Tigan and nothing helps.

I have heard that 4 treatments of this regime is enough. Does anyone have any knowledge about this. When I go in for my IV I am talking to the doctors about going through just one more. I'm trying to be strong, but it's a losing battle.

I hope no one else has this problem; I really think mine is quite unusual. Good luck ladies, Mary

no it is all so horrible i thought i wouldnt get past the 4th a/c treatment but i did it, then i did 6 of the taxole after the surgery and that is all my body could do.I did one treatment of the texotere and it about killed me they changed it to the taxole love and support Wanda
