I called my doctor's office to find out exactly what to expect and what would be done at my appointment for my biopsy and they told me that it was just a consult and they would schedule the biopsy at that time. So more waiting.
I was reading my mammography report and basically it said (in short) that a solid non calcified lesion was found in my right breast that needed to be biopsied. Anybody know what that means? Should I be worried?

And try not to read anything on the internet until you have specifics about you - there are lots of scary things out there and unless you're really good at fighting away fear, it may be best to cut back on the reading until you have more information. It is quite a long process to find out exactly what type of condition you have - biopsy is just the first step. It will confirm or deny whether it is cancer but won't give you the stage, final tumor size, etc. That will come after surgery, which may be a few more weeks down the road. Just breath and what feels like eternity will pass very quickly - promise. Lisa
