I am currently taking xeloda and am doing well on it. My markers are holding at 197. I have been told that there is nothing else to do for bone mets except when one chem drug stops progression then you go on to another. I also am on monthly treatments of Zometa. Any body have answers????

She kept saying, As long as they keep coming up with new meds, I can do this." She died at 70 in 1994 and had a wonderful life, always the life of the party. She is sorely missed. They didn't have many options back then. Stay strong. JaneHi Sheila, I can tell you that my aunt was diagnosed stage 4; she had lesions in her bones. She was taking chemo for 12 years.
