I have my first consultation with a breast surgeon on Monday, 2/25th.
I am a nervous wreck and eager to find out what is going on. I have not been diagnosed with breast cancer. I have only had 2 mammograms that the doctors could not confirm. So I am now going to a breast surgeon to see what type of biopsy needs to be done in order to see what is going on. I am full of emotions and trying to stay positive.

Want to leave a comment? Login or Register now!I also recommend writing your questions down as soon as you think of them, and try to take someone with you to your Dr Appt's. Yes it is very emontional but I am glad your staying positive. Good Luck! You have many women supporting you.
The feelings you are having are normal. I remember my biopsy consultation and I was very nervous. These are normal feelings but stay positive and ask your surgeon questions. Such as what type of biopsy, surgical or needle aspiration? Also, have him/her explain the procedure. Don't be afraid to ask questions, the more questions and answers you receive, the less anxiety.
