Waiting Again

Well, at this point I have seen all the doctors, but have bone scan set for Monday, 3/3. They say 6 months chemo, then surgery, then 33 doses of radiation, and last is reconstruction. I guess when the oncologist gets the results of the MUGA, CT, and bone scan that he will get back with me on when the chemo will start.....more waiting. I am just ready to get this business started, because the quicker it gets started the quicker it will get finished. I'm still scared, but not quite as much as I was at first.

I went the same way chemo first but i ended up having the surgery inbetween because one of the chemos were so harsh. I was glad it ended up like it did because first i was told i was a 11b then after they did surgery they said a 111a, thank God it was a low 111a well now i have done 4 treatments of the a/c ( killer) one taxatile,surgery took the whole breast and two layers of nods, and now i am doing once a week taxole and have 8 more to go will be a total of 12 taxole. then on to radiation and a pill..It has been a long road if u need to talk i am here i am estrogen + not hur2+ love and support Wanda

Waiting for test and results is the hardest part. I am like you..just hurray and get it done! Sending big hugs and support.

Ms. Bubbles, I just joined the foundation yesterday. I had a dear friend who had breast cancer and another one dx 2 months ago. I am breast cancer free, but had surgery about 4 weeks ago and everything is fine. I felt I needed to join this site in hopes of helping others in some way... your journal was the first i have read. I wish you well and will be praying for you! I will also be looking foward to reading your journals as you post them.. On a lighter note..I also like nascar...Talk to you soon. I hope I don't sound like a dork...LOL..this is my first post.
