Hi Ladies,
I name is Aunt Bo, I joined the Foundation last week in hoping to make a differance!
This pass December, I lost a dear friend to b/c and another friend was dx within the same month. The courage and strength that I see in my 2 friends is very humbling. The day after Christmas I got a phone call from my doctor telling me I needed to see the surgeon for a biopsy, for they found a mass on my mammorgram. On January 15th I had surgery and thank God everything was benign. I also have a history of multiple melanoma.
During the month of Feburary, a stong feeling came up me "What can I do to help"
I searched the internet and found this site (which I loved right away) I joined as a supporter and volunteer with excitement to get started.
Since joining this site, I've read a few of the journals and I find my eyes filling up with tears. My goal now is to get myself educated with b/c other than looking at pictures in the doctors office.
Anyone reading this is more then wecolme to email me and those in Michigan, I would love to hear from you and to be included with funraisers and volunteer work.
Ms. Bubbles and Wanda, I read your journals and "omgosh". Thinking and praying for you both and everyone during your journey with b/c. Get well soon.
