About Me
38 years old, diagnosed at 37, married, mother of 3, ages 14, 12 and 5.Diagnosed at 37years with Stage III, all receptors negative, positive for the BRCA1. Very aggressive cancer, but luckily my bone scan and CT scan were negative. I will have a bi-lateral masectomy with reconstruction. Also will have my ovaries removed. Bi-lateral done on 2/13/08, relieved that cancer should be completely gone, still waiting for pathology report, but of course very emotional. Went for my post surgery 2/25/08, pathology report came back clear, yeah! Ovaries removed on 04/02/08, pathology report came back with no signs of cancer, so I'm still going strong.
