About Me:

Hi :) I am 40 years old, Married to my best friend (20yrs May 7th). We have 1 son who is the light of our lives. I was diagnosed on March 5th with DCIS (left breast) Core Biopsy and 2 surgeries so far, no clear margins either surgery. Dr. says mastectomy for sure...I am leaning towards a double Mastectomy with reconstruction to start right away. I am meeting with the plastic surgeons on the 6th and 8th of May.

Update May 9.......Well, I picked my plastic surgeon and my bilateral Mastectomy with reconstruction right away is scheduled....Thursday, May 15th. Nerves are going in to overdrive........
