About Me

I have been happily married for 37 years and have two grown daughters, both married to wonderful men. I have 4 granddaughters and one grandson. Yes, the grandson is spoiled. I was diagnosed with Invasive carcinoma (NOS), medullary, ER1+/PR2+ on May 1, 2006. On May 16, 2006 I had a right breast lumpectomy and lymphnode dissection. Twenty-five lymphnodes were removed with one being positive for cancer. I had mammosite radiation twice daily for ten days, and then six cycles of taxetere, adrimycin and cytoxin. I worked during the chemo treatments. In 2007 my job was eliminated, so I have been looking for another. I have decided to go back to work part-time at a local golf course managing the club house in the mornings. My husband and family have been very supportive. Without them and most importantly God it would have been much harder to endure.
