The results showed some cysts, lymph nodes and a growth that was probably benign. But, the radiologist recommended follow up with an ultrasound. Same results, probably benign. I was to follow up in six months with another ultrasound. Which I didn't do, I'm one of the world's great procrastinators. I finally had the ultrasound in May 2007. The results were slightly different. More lymph nodes (inflamed (?) than the first and more cysts and a new growth that is irregular in shape around the edges. My primary insisted on a mammogram as a mammogram shows more than an ultrasound. Same results, now I'm supposed to follow up in three months (same tests, mammogram/ultrasound) instead of every six months, as they want to watch this. Is this something I should worry about? Has anyone experienced anything similar?
