What about organ clenses? ie:colon, liver

by Karen N on 7/6/2007 at 5:36 pmin category Treatment
I've heard that cleansing your liver and your colon are really good in aiding the fight against cancer. My concern is that I just had a masectomy and 24 of my auxilary nods removed. The Dr's are concerned that there still may be cancer that has spread. I will start a new regiment of chemo later this month. Is it a good idea to cleans liver, kidneys, lymph system ect. when there could still be cancer cells in my lymph system? Please if any one has any info.
Thanks Karen N.

I would advise against initiating any new therapies at this point, ESPECIALLY when you start your chemotherapy. Cancer cells cannot be "cleansed" away. Wait until your physician gives you the ok, but otherwise, please wait.
