About Me:

I am a divorced mother of two, grandmother of three. I recently started to date again after five years of being alone. People say I look 10 years younger than my actual age. I can live with that.
I love my job, even held a p/t job for several years and I loved that too.
I have lived in Florida since 1996. Enjoy the beach, fishing and camping.
I also love to read. You will never find me without a book.
I have my own house, nicknamed MoneyPit for obvious reasons. I have so many how-to books, but I still don't know how-to LOL
Oh, and I have breast cancer.

Jobs I've Held:

Mostly worked in the insurance industry. But, I have held many factory/assembly line jobs in my younger days...made candles, trachea tube kits, golf clubs, etc.
Been at my current job over 26 years now.

Movies I Could Watch Over and Over:

Always with Richard Dryfus; Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase; Simon Burch with Jim Carey (cameo); Three Came Home with Claudette Colbert (mother taught me to appreciate the old black and white classics)

Places I Have Lived:

Delaware (born there), New Jersey, Southern California (22 years); Arizona, and finally Florida.

TV Shows I Love to Watch:

All the CSI's; NCIS; All the Law and Order's; Survivor, Amazing Race, American Idol, and football.

Vacations I've Taken:

Been to Vancouver/Victoria BC; Utah, Montana, Washington, San Felipe Mexico. Also, traveled up and down the west coast in a VW van, camped wherever I felt like pulling over.

My Hobbies:

Reading mostly, love to stencil, make jewelry.

My Heroes:

Ahhhh, my children of course. Amazing children who have overcome some tough hurdles.
My gal pals The Golden Girls, raising their grandchildren.

Who I'd like to meet:

The Pope, and I am not Catholic; The Dahli Lhama, just because; my youngest grandchild, long story; Robert Redford, I love horses; Mark Harmon, have had a crush on him for decades (move over Pam, he's mine)

Things I Love to Eat:

Italian, Chinese, Mexican. Just about anything that doesn't wiggle or bleed on the plate.

My Favorite Music:

No rap or hip hop, everything else is fair game. Love country music, oldies, classical. And I love to dance and shake my booty.

My Favorite Books:

Anthing by Harlan Cogan, James Patterson, Sandra Browne, Tami Hoag, Janet Evanovich (love Stephie Plum).

My Favorite Flower:

Silver Bell rose, a beutiful lavender almost looks silver.

Places I'd Rather be:

On a cruise ship being catered to; on an island walking along the shoreline; in a cabin in the mountains or a beach hide-away.
