When will hair loss start?

I am on day 14 after my first chemo and I haven't started to lose my hair and the waiting is really hard. I am sure everyone is different. If I could get some different time lines it would be nice.

My hair started falling out about the 17th day. Mostly in the shower, I also had it shaved off about the 21st day. My husband did it for me. Mine did not hurt, but my scalp was a little sensitive. FYI, if you choose to wear a wig, it gets very hot, and your sweat has no where to go but down your face.

I shaved mine i didnt want to watch it fall out no way!!! but everyone says the same thing that Ros is saying about the 15th day into treatment or after the second treatment ive heard ...at the latest love and support Wanda

My hair started falling out the night of my second treatment. So I guess Day 15 was when it began. Within a week I had my neighbor shave it off just so I wouldn't have to deal with hair falling everywhere and clogging up the drains. My hair hurt too! Very strange! It's like I could feel every single follicle. Are you on Adriamycin and/or Cytoxen? Just get those hats ready. Love, Rosemary

My hair loss started on the 18th day .. by the 21st day I had my son shave it off .. I got a weird pain from it .. the hair hurt for some strange reason .. God Bless
