I just wanted to share...I finally am able to go out without the wig.
My hair grew back so slowly and fine and curly! I could not figure out how to deal with the curly, thin hair so I ended up waring my wig all of the time. I was a little worried that I would never be comforable without it. But on Thursday I got my hair colored and styled and cut. I love it. One more step back to the real me AC (after cancer.)

Congratulations on finding the your NEW Normal after cancer treatments. I just started going without my wig last week, my sister said FREE YOURSELF!!! I still feel self conscience about having short hair and being over weight, but i do feel free. I heard hair growth is 1/2 inch every month, my hair is growing back curly, i'll be happy to not have to use hot curlers. Even though i'm not totally comfortable with my new normal, i'm am so happy to be alive!!!!

My best to you,
StevenCongratulations! That is a big step. I admire your confidence. Ying's hair grew back wavy and that is really different for a Chinese lady, but she's as cute as a bug and like you, glowing with pride. My best to you, Steven
