Well,my mom is still taking Arimidex so far so good. She is also taking Morphine for the pain which is helping her a lot. She will also start radiation next week.

She is very angry with her condition.

Anger is a very normal emotion in this case. Many women experience this stage after the shock of their diagnosis. The best advice I can give for your mother is to research and learn as much about breast cancer as possible. The more she knows about the disease she is fighting, the better. Have you shown her Beyond The Shock, the breast cancer video that explains the diagnosis and treatment? Chapter 6 specifically talks about radiation. Hope this helps some, you and your mom will be in my thoughts and prayers.
