Im married ,mother of 5 children plus 5 grandchildren 2 more due this year 1 in OCT and 1 in Dec.I have Breast cancer found out last year i was 47 yrs old.Its called ductal carcinoma i believe. 6 months after the radiation treatment in Nov 06 I went back for a recheck and it came out normal.It was in stage one and didnt spread in which im grateful for. Im lucky because the last time i actually had a mammogram was back in 1983.

Great encouragement! I had ductal carcinoma (in situ) too but it's only been 9 months for me. Mammo is coming up and as you can imagine, I get a bit nervous!

Thank you for sharing your story with us. So glad the cancer did not spread. Hope all is still going well. I am sure you are very excited for the two new grandchildren to arrive very shortly!
