About Me:

I am a mother of 6 beautiful children. the Lord has blessed me well with great children and a loving husband. I also have a dog who acts more like a child than a dog. so I guess in a way I have 7 children. I have come to this site looking for advice and comfort since I have found a lump on my breast back in June of this year. I am now waiting for my test day to come so the ultrasound can be preformed and then I will know whether my mind will be put at ease or I will have to begin a battle. I have strong faith in the good Lord and I will continue to look to him for guidence and comfort and I will also continue to lean on him and pray for strength. UPDATE: I had a mamogram on Nov. 2, 2007 and it come back good!! THANK YOU JESUS!! The lump I still have is some kind of cyst and the doctor needs to monitor it but the radiologist said it is not cancer!!

Jobs I've Held:

I have had several jobs from being a store clerk to management of a mobile home community, but mostly I have always been a full time stay at home mommy and wife.

Places I Have Lived:

I've lived in michigan for most of my life but I have also lived in Las Vegas Nevada for a short time. I really liked living in the country area that I used to live in...it seemed like the people in town were more friendly there, but I like where I am at now too!

TV Shows I Love to Watch:

the o.c. (too bad its not on tv any more), house, reba, divorce court.

Vacations I've Taken:

I love to go to the beach and to water parks with my kids. A lot of the time we just pitch a tent in our own back yard, have a fire in the fire pit and make smores and hobo pies....sometimes vacation is just a back yard away!!

NBCF is the one I visit most often but I also like to go to the country station I listen to view whats new on their site.

My Hobbies:

I like to make things like holiday crafts especially wreaths for my front door. I also like to make cookies with my kids...we usually make christmas cookies, halloween cookies or carmel apples, just spending time hanging out with my kids and creating something is great, once in a while my hubby will join in and it becomes a whole family thing!!

My Heroes:

Kenny Chesney... because his music is wonderful and sometimes I can just close my eyes and its like he's right there singing to me. MY MOM BECAUSE SHE IS A STRONG WOMAN WITH THE WILL AND THE FAITH OF THE GOOD LORD. All the soldiers on foreign land standing up for our country and the ones who have paid the ultimate price with their lives... thank you!

Who I'd like to meet:

Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts their music is awesome...no matter what happens in my life they always have a song that compares with my life and sometimes I even feel as if they are singing about events in my life or things I am going through...they are just awesome!!

Things I Love to Eat:

I love chocolate, different types of salads, cashews

My Favorite Music:

country although I do listen to other types of music except that head rattling head banging music that seems to be more noise and screaming than anything! I love country music it gets to my soul but I also like music with a good beat! My Favorite Books:

the kissing hand because it helped me through the first days of kindergarten for my kids. I also love 'twas the night before christmas because I have read that book for years to my kids on christmas eve just before they go to bed since my oldest was little.

My Favorite Flower:

carnations.... all different colors, I also love miniture sun flowers of all different colors in my flower garden

Places I'd Rather be:

at the beach on the warm sand watching my kids build sand castles and splash in the water with my husband sitting beside me holding my hand. On a tube at the top of the big water slide at the water park with one of my little ones on my lap getting ready to go down! or on a tube in the lazy river at the water park just floating around with my little ones soaking up the sun and cooling down from the heat!! In a hot steamy jacuzzi with my hubby sipping sparkling cider in each others arms as the days (and lifes) stresses melt away with the steam from the hot jacuzzi and the steam of our love!!
