Yesterday I participated in the Syracuse, NY Susan Komen Race For The Cure event. I would highly recommend anyone interested in this event to participant in there area. I think it was very beneficial for my grown boys and family to see that there are a lot of survivors out there, and that people are working hard to find a cure.
On another note, Wed. I go back into the hospital and will be doing the left mastectomy and finishing the right reconstruction. The plan is to try and reconstruct the left with an implant at the same time and avoid the expanders this time. Thanks for the help I received early on from everyone making this choice, I feel 100%% that I have decided the right thing. I plan on being around long enough to watch my children have children.
