About Me

I have lived in the Los Angeles area by the ocean since 1980. I am married with 2 adult sons. I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer, ductal carcinoma in 1994 at age 49. It was a very aggressive type and 1.5 CM. I went through lumpectomy, radiation, and chemo. In July 2007 a 0.5 CM low grade tumor was detected in my other breast after a biopsy. I had another lumpectomy 2 days ago and am awaiting the pathology report.
