Alleghany Highlands Free Clinic
The Alleghany Highlands Free Clinic is a nonprofit organization established in 1998 that provides health care to low-income, uninsured residents of the Alleghany Highlands. With support from the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the Clinic is able to offer free-of-charge diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds to women who might otherwise go without these potentially life-saving services.
"I would like to thank the National Breast Cancer Foundation for the generous allotment for screening, diagnostic mammograms, and ultrasounds for underserved women. This grant will have significant impact on the level of service we will provide."
