NBCF Partner Facilities
POH Regional Medical Center: McLaren-Oakland
The McLaren-Oakland Riley Foundation offers state-of-the-art health services to Oakland residents regardless of their ability to pay. To date, the Foundation has provided more than 13 million dollars in uncompensated medical care for those in need.
The Foundation's Sister & Sister Free Mammogram Program promotes breast cancer awareness throughout the community and facilitates mammogram screenings for uninsured, at-risk or low-income women in Oakland County. Teresa Rodges, Executive Director of the McLaren-Oakland Riley Foundation, initiated the program after seeing first-hand how many women in Oakland County were in need of mammogram screenings, but could not afford them. Since its inception in 2007, the program has provided more than 2,000 mammogram screenings to women in need.
"We are passionate about the importance of this program and take pride in our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Because of your kindness, the POH Riley Foundation will be able to continue supporting the Sister & Sister Free Mammogram Program. Please know that you are a vital partner in our efforts to provide the best possible care for individuals and families in our community."
Teresa A. Rodges, Executive Director
