Novant Health Presbyterian Cancer Care in Charlotte, NC is an accredited cancer network by the Commission on Cancer and is dedicated to providing comprehensive diagnostic, treatment and survivorship programs to anyone facing the disease. Our breast cancer program is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, recognizing our commitment to the highest level of quality care for our patients. We offer advanced diagnostic imaging like 3D tomosynthesis, as well as the latest treatment options, a continuum of care program facilitated by nurse navigators and a cancer wellness and rehabilitation program.
“Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center has partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation for the past seven years. In 2014 Novant Health Cancer Education Prevention and Early Detection program, with NBCF funding, provided 157 screening mammograms and 113 diagnostic procedures with three breast cancer diagnoses. The program provided one-on-one breast cancer health education to the 157 women who received screening mammograms and enrolled the three women diagnosed with breast cancer into the Novant Health navigation program.
