Springfield Hospital

Springfield Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital serving communities in southeastern Vermont and southwestern New Hampshire. The hospital’s Breast Care Center began in 2007 and is a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program offering screening and diagnostic services, counseling, and state-of-art treatment. The Breast Care Center’s team includes highly-skilled medical professionals and a Breast Care Coordinator who guides each patient from the time of an abnormal finding, to biopsy procedures and surgery.  The Coordinator also oversees a breast cancer support group that meets monthly.

"As a financial counselor at Springfield Hospital, I meet with women who cannot afford to have mammograms and ultrasounds so they do not have them.  The National Breast Cancer Foundation funding provided  peace of mind to many of these women in need."
