St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Barbara Greenspun Womens Care Center
Guided by the vision and core values of the Adrian Dominican Sisters and Catholic Healthcare West, St. Rose Dominican is Las Vegas valley’s only not-for-profit, religiously sponsored hospital system. What began as a tiny hospital in 1947 is now comprised of three hospital campuses, all of which are rated in the top 5 of hospitals in the state by the HealthInsight quality report. St. Rose Dominican works in partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to offer the collaborative program, RED Rose (Responsible Early Detection). The program provides a bilingual Breast Health Navigator to facilitate clinical breast exams, mammograms, ultrasounds, surgical consultations, and biopsies for women who lack financial means or adequate health care coverage to cover the cost of these services.
"We are proud that the National Breast Cancer Foundation shares our mission and has chosen to support our R.E.D. Rose program. With these funds, not only will we be able to provide education on breast cancer awareness, we will provide more than 320 mammograms and nearly 200 clinical breast exams this year."
