April 17, 2014 – The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) was recently presented with a check for $410,000 from BJ’s Wholesale Club at the Inova Hospital in Leesburg, VA. BJ’s, a company that raises money to support breast cancer awareness with select pink items in October, donated the money to support the charities mission to save lives through early detection and provide mammograms for those in need.

Tammy Gray, a breast cancer survivor and an advocate for breast cancer awareness, was presented with the Andrea Roane Courage Award for her efforts. Gray works to spread awareness about breast health and wellness throughout Loudoun County and founded the Loudoun Breast Health Network.

Help support women in need

Donations are always appreciated, but there are lots of great ways to get involved.
