October 1, 2014 – LOS ANGELES, CA – Gold’s Gym, the world’s leading authority on health and fitness announced today the Southern California franchise will partner with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF) for the “Press for the Chest” campaign fight against breast cancer.

Honoring individuals whose lives have been altered by breast cancer, Gold’s Gym SoCal will be going pink for the month of October with the release of the “Press for the Chest” retail line of T-Shirts and Wristbands to raise funds and donate proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. In addition to the retail promotion, members will also have the option to donate with the purchase of any in store item or simply by visiting the front desk.

“Everyone has been affected by breast cancer, whether on a personal level or through a friend or family member,” said Angel Banos, President and CEO of the Gold’s Gym SoCal Group. “This is our way of giving back and raising awareness in our communities.”

All 12 Gold’s Gym SoCal franchise locations will participate in the October campaign including North Hollywood, Hollywood, Downtown Los Angeles, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Culver City, Fullerton, West Covina, Valencia, Santa Ana, Arcadia and Montclair.

In addition to the internal “Press for the Chest” fundraiser, Gold’s Gym SoCal will also offer monthly memberships for $0 Enrollment and will donate 100% of first month’s dues to the National Breast Cancer Foundation when members join with the promotional offer.
