November 19, 2014 – TRACY, CA- As the holiday season approaches, GloriAnn Farms and partner Five Crowns Marketing are getting into the giving spirit. GloriAnn Farms is excited to announce that this year’s contribution totaled over $21,000! The donation was made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) for the third year in a row, bringing the three year total to over $59,500.
In partnering with this very worthy organization, GloriAnn Farms and Five Crowns Marketing ran a promotion with retailers to draw attention to this important cause. For every case of sweet corn sold to participating retailers during the month of October, a portion was donated to NBCF. In addition, GloriAnn Farms ran a campaign on Facebook, donating an additional $1 for each new Facebook page “Like” up to 500 new likes. As a result, an additional $500 was added to the donation.
“For three years, GloriAnn Farms and Five Crowns Marketing’s support of our mission to help women now has impacted thousands facing a diagnosis of breast cancer,” says NBCF Co-Founder & CEO, Janelle Hail. “The funds they’ve raised this October will help us provide life-saving early detection services for those in need in all 50 states.”
In addition to receiving thanks from NBCF, consumers also shared their thoughts with GloriAnn Farms regarding support of such a worthy cause. “We received some really positive feedback from people via our social media platforms and website this year,” said Katie Veenstra, Director of Marketing for GloriAnn Farms. “Many people are affected by breast cancer in one way or another, so this is a cause that most everyone can connect with and are happy to support.”
