June 25, 2015 – Saginaw, MI – Stevens Worldwide Van Lines of Saginaw, MI and the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) of Frisco, TX have announced that they will continue their partnership. This will mark the fifth consecutive year in which the two organizations will team up to provide for the early detection of breast cancer, education and support services.
For every mile that the Stevens pink truck travels, Stevens donates ten cents to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. In addition to this, a portion of the proceeds from each private, interstate move is donated to NBCF, as well as each non-military household goods move coordinated by Stevens International Forwarders. Since the partnership’s inception, Stevens has been able to contribute more than 300 mammograms to aid in the early detection of breast cancer.

One in Eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. When breast cancer is detected early, the five-year survival rate is 98%. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same.
