October 29, 2015 – During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, RPB® Safety is joining the fight against this prevalent disease with the regional launch of their inaugural pink industrial respirator fundraising campaign.

The company known for designing world-renowned respiratory protection personal equipment is selling 100 of its limited edition premium Nova 3 helmets, that have been molded pink for the cause, to meet the campaign goal of $50,000. All proceeds will be donated to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.® (NBCF).

“RPB® Safety has always put its customers and employees first so anything that impacts them and their health and happiness is something we consider a priority,” says Chief Marketing Officer, Kurt Ivory.

“We hope our contribution to the cause can have a big impact on providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer, and motivate other companies to join the fight as well.”

Breast cancer in the U.S. is reported to be on the rise. According to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, breast cancer continues to account for the highest number of new cancer cases among women in the country. It amounts to one in eight women being diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime.

Respiratory protective equipment is used in various commercial and industrial sectors to protect employees from contaminants, aerosolized chemicals, and harmful gases.
