Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been a beacon of hope and support for underserved communities in Florida and beyond for 17 years. The Mission of Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation is to provide comprehensive services to the underserved through education, mammograms, and patient navigation on the journey from diagnosis to survivorship with the compassion to ensure no one fights alone. We strive to enhance the lives of those affected by breast cancer and eliminate barriers to necessary care. Over the past 17 years, Libby’s Legacy has delivered more than 17,000 breast health services and has diagnosed and navigated over 300 women and men through their breast cancer journeys.
Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care and support to those affected by breast cancer, ensuring that everyone has access to the care they deserve. Our programming, such as the Cancer Screening Initiative, provide underserved individuals with free mammograms and follow-up services. At the same time, the (MAP) Mammogram Access Project addresses transportation barriers by bringing essential services directly to communities in need. Our Patient Advocacy Liaison Service (PALS) ensures equitable care by attending appointments and providing personalized advocacy. The Bridging Gaps program offers culturally competent education and access to breast health services for the LGBTQ+ community.
