Maple Tree Cancer Alliance is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals battling cancer through evidence-based, individualized exercise oncology programs. Founded in 2011, the organization has grown from a single site to 86 program locations serving over 8,000 patients annually across the country. Maple Tree’s innovative four-phase approach (Prehabilitation, Active Treatment, Pre-Survivorship, and Survivorship) provides comprehensive support throughout the entire cancer journey, with all services offered free of charge to eliminate financial barriers for underserved populations. Led by a distinguished team of experts, the organization has published extensive research demonstrating significant improvements in physical function, fatigue reduction, and quality of life for cancer patients. Their commitment to equity in cancer care is reflected in their culturally relevant, accessible program designs that specifically address the needs of marginalized communities who experience documented disparities in cancer outcomes.
Donations are always appreciated, but there are lots of great ways to get involved.
