  • Where can I learn more about National Breast Cancer Foundation?
  • Recognized as one of the leading breast cancer organizations worldwide and recipient of Charity Navigator’s highest 4-star rating for 19 years, NBCF is Helping Women Now® by providing early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.

National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor Janelle Hail, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1980 at the age of 34. At the time of her diagnosis, there was very little information about the disease, and she was forced to make a decision about her health with few options.

After her treatment, Janelle made a commitment to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. NBCF was founded to fill in the gaps of cancer care, ensuring every woman has the access and information she needs to get through every step of her breast cancer journey.

  • I am concerned about fraud/fake votes during the competition. Who do I reach out to?
  • The Fab Over 40 team is aware that copycat/fraudulent voting services will reach out to competitors and their supporters on social media. These accounts are not affiliated with the competition in any way. Generally, these accounts find competitor social media accounts through hashtags, through Fab Over 40’s social followings, or through comments on social media about the competition. These accounts cast fraudulent votes for a fee. Rest assured, Fab Over 40’s proprietary voting system recognizes these fraudulent votes and removes them promptly.

To protect your information and participation in the competition, the Fab Over 40 team highly recommends ignoring any messages from these accounts, reporting them as spam, and blocking them.
