Aurora Health Care operates 18 hospitals and over 150 clinics across the state of Wisconsin, all of which serve as screening/access points for breast cancer services. Individuals can be connected to the Breast Care Center from any of these locations. The majority of breast cancer treatment services are delivered through nine high-risk breast cancer clinics, the largest of which are located at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee and Aurora West Allis Medical Center in West Allis.
“Aurora Health Care’s Breast Cancer Program in Milwaukee is deeply committed to supporting patients throughout their cancer journey‚ not only medically, but holistically. Many of our patients face significant financial hardships that threaten their ability to maintain housing, access nutritious food, and attend critical appointments. With support from the NBCF Patient Relief Program, we can help ease these burdens by providing assistance with rent or mortgage payments, utilities, transportation, and groceries‚ ensuring our patients can focus on healing, not survival.” —Nicole M. Zaremba, MD, FACS Medical Director, Advocate Aurora Comprehensive Breast Care Centers of Greater Milwaukee
Donations are always appreciated, but there are lots of great ways to get involved.
