Since 1976, CARTI has been Arkansas’s cornerstone of comprehensive cancer care, including specialized breast cancer treatment. Serving approximately 50,000 patients annually through our network of 18 treatment locations statewide, we bring advanced diagnostic, surgical, radiation, and medical oncology services directly to Arkansans who need them most. CARTI’s mission is to make trusted cancer care accessible for every patient served through compassion, innovation, and purpose. We provide the best care possible for every individual, regardless of geographic or financial barriers. Our Patient Assistance Program removes obstacles that prevent access to lifesaving cancer treatment, ensuring that no breast cancer patient ever has to choose between care and survival.
To access Patient Assistance resources and Patient Relief, CARTI requires people to be patients. To become a patient, a physician can refer you to our comprehensive cancer and patient services center, The Bridge.
“In a largely rural state like Arkansas, many of our patients face unique barriers to timely diagnosis and treatment because they can’t access comprehensive cancer care close to home. Through the support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, CARTI will be able to remove some of those barriers – helping patients access screenings, treatment, and support services that can truly change outcomes and save lives.” —Stacy Smith-Foley, MD, Breast Imaging Specialist, CARTI Cancer Center
