Memorial Hospital

Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Foundation’s Breast Imaging Fund provides financial assistance for women on the MS Gulf Coast who cannot afford breast diagnostic imaging services such as mammograms, breast ultrasounds and breast MRIs. Through this fund, the Foundation is able to help provide over 60 diagnostic services annually to women at four locations across the Coast. Funding from the National Breast Cancer Foundation is vital to this program and ensures women in-need have access to the services needed to detect breast cancer and improve outcomes. We are thankful for the incredible support we have received for the NBCF and look forward to the continued partnership between our two organizations to help serve women in South Mississippi.

“This program has provided a way for the residents within our service area, to obtain breast diagnostic services that otherwise would not be available for them, due to the cost of the exams. The variety of exams available for breast services has changed over the years. Memorial offers state of the art imaging within our service area. The cost can be a prohibiting factor for some of our clientele. Memorial is able to offer funding through the National Breast Cancer Foundation for breast cancer services when money is the obstacle to complete breast care.”
