TriHealth delivers comprehensive, high-quality breast health services across the full continuum of care—from prevention and screening through detection, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. The system offers 11 breast screening locations, including the TriHealth Mobile Mammography Van, to ensure that all women in Greater Cincinnati have access to advanced 3D screening technologies such as computer-aided detection and Profound AI. Services provided include but are not limited to: ACR-accredited digital mammography, 3D digital tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast biopsy, on-site surgical consultation, breast cancer treatment and rehabilitation, breast MRI, mobile mammography, cyst aspiration, sentinel node mapping, lymphedema therapy, and clinical trials.
Should screening result in a diagnosis or necessitate treatment, TriHealth patients benefit from state-of-the-art medical facilities and a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, nurses, dietitians, genetic counselors, financial aid counselors, and social workers. Each patient is supported by a specially trained and certified Breast Health Navigator—registered nurses certified in breast health navigation, many with extensive oncology experience—who provide guidance throughout the treatment process and address both physical and emotional needs. Navigators collaborate closely with patients and healthcare providers to connect individuals with essential resources for completing standard-of-care treatments and achieving recovery.
Please note: TriHealth Breast Care Services does not perform clinical breast exams as part of routine mammograms. However, patients presenting clinical findings who consult with a TriHealth breast surgeon will receive a clinical breast exam during their appointment. Additionally, TriHealth patients undergo clinical breast exams during routine medical check-ups with their gynecologist.
