America’s highest-rated telemedicine provider, CallonDoc, recently raised and donated $5,000 for breast cancer awareness month to partner National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.® (NBCF), one of the leading breast cancer organizations in the world.

“NBCF was excited to partner with CallonDoc for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to bring awareness and raise funds for those battling breast cancer,” said Director of Strategic Partnerships for NBCF, Brooke Adams. “The funds raised from this campaign helped women and their families with the current breast cancer screening crisis.”

The total 2021 fundraising for NBCF resulted in 18,709 mammograms and diagnostic screens for women, 3,432 NBCF HOPE Kits distributed to metastatic breast cancer retreats, and breast health education for 40,050 women.

“We are excited to continue our support to patients during their breast cancer journey and want make a difference in their lives,” said CallonDoc Founder and COO, Dr TJ Oshun. “We hope that with easily accessible online visits, patients can limit their exposure to additional health risks in clinics as well as reduce the stress of healthcare costs.”

CallonDoc will continue to support NBCF into 2022 by donating up to the value of $468,000 in free mental health visits as well as offering all other online visits at a discount to those supported through NBCF services.

“A breast cancer diagnosis is hard enough but facing the disease in the midst of a pandemic can be overwhelming,” said NBCF Chief Program Officer, Douglas Feil. “Thanks to partners like CallonDoc, we are able to help more patients navigate a diagnosis and ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone. CallonDoc’s generous donation of free mental health services for breast cancer patients is not only life-giving, but the impact will be felt for years to come.”
