Boston, MA – October 1, 2021 – Embr Labs has joined forces with National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to bring support to individuals on their breast cancer journeys. In October, the Embr Labs team and NBCF will come together to pack HOPE Kits, providing comfort and encouragement to women undergoing breast cancer treatment. Twenty-five HOPE Kits will include the first-generation Embr Wave, a thermal wearable that provides relief and greater control over uncomfortable temperature experiences that can ease stressful moments and sleep disruptions during and after treatment. Additionally, Embr Labs has committed to provide 25 Embr Wave devices for participants in NBCF Support Groups and Metastatic Breast Cancer Retreats.

“Embr Labs’ mission is to make innovative technology, data and research to improve the well-being and quality of life for breast cancer survivors. Because of this, we’re proud to partner with NBCF, not only materially, but by volunteering as an organization to take action and deliver hope to ensure no woman faces breast cancer alone,” said Elizabeth Gazda, Embr Labs CEO.

The partnership is a natural fit for both organizations as Embr Labs continues to study how the Wave brings thermal relief for those affected by breast cancer and works to help NBCF further their mission. “Embr Labs could not be more excited to partner with National Breast Cancer Foundation,” said Heather Ritchie, Embr Labs VP of Product & Marketing. “NBCF’s mission of Helping Women Now® perfectly aligns to our own commitment of helping women impacted by breast cancer, so they can experience symptomatic relief through temperature.”

“We are excited to see reactions from the individuals who will be receiving the Wave devices and learning how this gift from Embr Labs will bring relief during the time they need it most,” said NBCF Director of Partnerships, Becca Epperley.
