Organization Celebrates Fifteen Years of 4-Star Designation

FRISCO, TX – May 10, 2021 – Charity Navigator, America’s largest and most trusted nonprofit evaluator of charities, has awarded National Breast Cancer Foundation the distinguished 4-star rating for its fifteenth year.

“Over the past year, NBCF was met with incredible challenges and unique opportunities that caused many shifts in our business and program delivery for the better. No matter what, our team is dedicated to monitoring the stewardship and impact of our donor dollars, knowing how many individuals and partners trust us to make smart, effective decisions. We are grateful to receive the highly esteemed 4-star rating as a testament to our strength in financial, accountability, and transparency metrics.” – Rebecca Buell, NBCF Chief Financial Officer

According to Charity Navigator, receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that an organization exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its cause. This exceptional rating signifies good governance and other best practices that allow the nonprofit to effectively and efficiently execute its mission in a fiscally responsible way.
