March 15, 2016 – Panera Bread presents a check for $13,167 to National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) on March 9. The funds were raised during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where a portion of the proceeds from sales of its iconic Pink Ribbon Bagel benefitted NBCF, whose mission is helping women now by providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education, and support services. As part of its mission to give back to the communities it serves, the funds raised will support its various programs including free mammogram and diagnostic breast care services for women.
