January 20, 2016 – TAMPA, FL – PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality) restaurants proudly partnered with National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.® (NBCF) this past October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  PDQ is excited to announce that through the efforts and support of our PDQ Guests and Team Members, the brand raised $18,000, bringing our two-year contributions to NBCF to more than $40,000!

For the second consecutive year, PDQ sold pink t-shirts in all of its restaurants with this year’s design created by South Florida artist Sergio (SURGE) Quinonez, whose wife, Adriana, is a breast cancer survivor.

In addition to selling the “Shake Out Cancer” t-shirts, PDQ made a donation to NBCF for every milkshake purchased in October.

“PDQ has supported our mission of Helping Women Now® for two years, impacting thousands of women facing a breast cancer diagnosis,” said NBCF Co-& CEO, Janelle Hail. “The funds they raised this past October will help us provide life-saving early detection services for those in need.”

“PDQ strongly believes in giving back to the community, and being able to make this donation to such a worthy organization is truly an honor,” said PDQ President Steve Erickson. “Breast cancer is a widespread disease that touches nearly everyone in some way.  We are so appreciative of the work that NBCF does on a daily basis to assist in this fight.”
