September 27, 2013 – FORT COLLINS, CO – In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Weston Distance Learning is proud to partner with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). Weston is pleased to support NBCF’s mission to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need.

For the month of October, Weston Distance Learning will donate a portion of every enrollment to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Current students and graduates, as well as employees and friends of Weston Distance Learning, have the opportunity to donate to the cause through an online donation tool found on each of the schools’ websites.

Dedicated to adult education and career training, Weston Distance Learning understands how critical it is for women to have the resources to get healthy and stay healthy. “We choose to partner with the National Breast Cancer Foundation because our students and employees are important to us. Most of us have or will have someone close to us diagnosed with this disease. Early screening and education have helped breast cancer death rates steadily decline. This is why Weston supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission and is pleased to make a donation to them so they can continue their important work,” said Ann Rohr, President of Weston Distance Learning.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month – 31 days dedicated to increasing public knowledge about breast cancer prevention, early detection and treatment. NBCF provides women with the information, tools and services to conquer this deadly disease. By supplying free mammograms to women in need, educational programs and materials, and other prevention tools, NBCF makes a difference nationwide.
