Mammogram

The early detection of breast cancer is critical to survival. When detected in the early stages, the breast cancer survival rate is 99%. But many women face financial barriers when it comes to receiving timely screenings and diagnoses.

Give the gift of a mammogram by removing the financial barriers to care faced by women in underserved communities.

Support Groups

Having the support of others who are on a similar journey is an important part of breast cancer treatment and survivorship. Research shows that taking part in support groups is an effective way to reduce the stress and anxiety caused by a breast cancer diagnosis. NBCF offers free in-person and virtual support groups to patients and survivors.

You can provide women with a supportive community to share their breast cancer journey.

Metastatic Breast Cancer Retreat

Those living with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer face a unique set of challenges and emotions. NBCF hosts weekend retreats for small groups of late-stage patients and their caregivers. Retreat sessions include oncology consultations, end-of-life preparations, understanding and expressing hopes and fears, and letter writing to family and friends for future milestones.

You can provide metastatic breast cancer patients with renewed hope, increased knowledge, and a reminder that they are not alone.

Breast Health Educational Materials

Studies have shown that individuals who are uninformed about their breast health are less likely to take advantage of early detection services, like mammograms. NBCF provides vital breast health education to those in need, empowering them to be more proactive about their breast health and understanding the resources available to them.

Give the gift of breast health education this holiday season.
