Convoy of Hope provides help and hope to families in the U.S. and around the world through community outreaches, disaster response, and children’s feeding initiatives. The National Breast Cancer Foundation partners with Convoy of Hope at outreach events across the U.S. to educate women about the importance of early detection and the available resources in their community.
Through this initiative, NBCF has trained over 900 volunteers and delivered life-saving services to over 18,000 women on how to perform a breast self-exam and register them for an Early Detection Plan. At select outreach events, NBCF is able to offer free mammograms to uninsured women through our network of partner hospitals.
