Huntsman Cancer Institute is a world renowned cancer center with a mission of “Patients First”, and offers a premiere multidisciplinary breast cancer program starting with a breast imaging service that is top 1-2% of patient satisfaction.

In 1995, the Huntsman family started Huntsman Cancer Foundation (HCF) to ensure the future of cutting-edge research at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Huntsman Cancer Institute is the region’s only National Cancer Institute–Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and cancer specialty hospital. It is not owned by the Huntsman family, but rather is a gift to the citizens of Utah and beyond, and 100% owned by the state of Utah. In 2005, Huntsman Cancer Institute was named the official cancer center of the state of Utah.

Huntsman Cancer Institute is committed to increasing access for early detection for screening, and diagnosis of breast cancer for all patients in the community. Our efforts include extending our reach beyond clinical locations through HCI’s Cancer Screening and Education Bus. We also partner with community organizations and local health departments to create access for those in rural communities and for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
